It might offer just one daily cleaning mode, but this electric toothbrush can still remove far more plaque than an ordinary toothbrush. Its brush head rotates and pulsates, which allows it to provide a better clean than manual brushing. And it's back to its Prime Day price of just AU$44.
Save AU$64.01
After owning multiple wireless mice whose non-removable lithium-ion batteries have died, a couple of years ago I bought this exact DeathAdder from Razer for one simple reason: it uses either a single AA or AAA battery for power, so I won't ever be stuck with a paperweight due to failed batteries again. Despite being a generation behind, it's also a fab performer when it comes to gaming, with a dedicated 2.4GHz model and included USB receiver. Super easy to recommend at 59% off.
This recently upgraded model of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is one of the best-value streaming sticks, especially for Amazon customers who appreciate Alexa. It supports 4K ultra HD resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10 Plus, and Dolby Atmos audio – plus cloud gaming via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Use it to access popular streaming subscriptions like Netflix, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus and more.
Save AU$132.84
A whopping 66% discount makes this oscillating electric toothbrush quite affordable. Capable of removing more plaque than a regular brush, this model has a 2-minute timer so you don't need to overbrush. It also works with most of Oral-B's replaceable brush heads too.
Save AU20.02
Already affordable, these wireless buds in the Black colourway get a 30% discount – the lowest price we've seen. That's not bad considering we rate them 4.5 stars in our Earfun Air Pro 3 review, and they have active noise cancelling, premium aptX sound quality and 45 hours total play time. If black's not for you, the other four colours are also heavily discounted.
Save AU$124
It's a basic air fryer with a 4L capacity that's perfect for a single person or a couple. This kitchen appliance is good value as it will do more than just air fry – it has 12 different functions to help you make a meal. Plus it's got a small footprint, making it ideal for a small household. It has been as cheap as AU$79 before, which makes this an all-time low price.
Save AU$21
Our current pick as the best budget earbuds (even at their original price) the Sony WF-C510 deliver a punchy, detailed sound complete with support for 360 Reality Audio spatial audio. They do miss out on ANC, but otherwise they're a fantastic set of earbuds that prove you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for great sound. The deal price here is for all colours.
Save AU$36
A perfect travel companion or an extra tool for quick and easy precision touch-ups, Manscaped's The Handyman is a compact face shaver employs a foil shaver and an integrated comb to lift hairs, ensuring you get the best look every time.
Save AU$90
If you don't enjoy flossing the traditional way, use the power of water instead. Removing plaque using three different water pressure settings, this handy flosser will clean out those hard-to-reach gaps that your toothbrush can't. Plus, it's cordless, meaning you can take it on your travels too. While the Colgate Blast is often sold for the same 50% discount seen here, it's still a solid deal and not much above the lowest price we have seen.
Save AU$33.03
Our 1More Sonoflow review praised the comfort of the headphones, as well as the excellent active noise cancelling and up to 70 hours of battery life. This deal is about AU$7 higher than the lowest we have seen, but it's still an excellent discount.
Save AU$70.95
Down to an a record-low price for Black Friday but only in one colour option, the JBL Flip 6 is truly a powerhouse for such a small speaker. And while it lacks flashy features like voice control, you get a rugged and very portable speaker that punches well above its weight with bassy sound. Also available from JB Hi-Fi for AU$97.
Save AU$52
Looking for a fun way to encourage your child to remain active? This is a great activity tracker that's also swimproof. It's also got great battery life and is sized well for small wrists. However, it does require a paired phone to work, so if your child hasn't yet been given one, it might make managing the device a bit of a chore. Available in a few different colour options via the same listing.
Save AU$59.02
There is excellent value for money here as this one tool will take care of hair anywhere on the body. It comes with 15 attachments and offers 26 hair length settings. It's battery life also promises to be just as good – up to 4 weeks on a single charge. It also happens to waterproof. That's a lot of personal grooming for not a lot of money – Christmas gift, anyone?
Phones & accessories
Save AU$420
It's not quite the discount we were hoping for, but Samsung's flagship smartphone has received a 19% discount for Black Friday. With an S Pen to make photography fun and easy, plus aid in productivity, this is a powerhouse phone. This discount applies to the Titanium Grey, Purple and Yellow options, while the Titanium Black is AU$1,787.
Save AU$103
There's something about Nothing that makes you sit up and take notice... yeah, it's the design, isn't it? Even under the hood there's something going on, with a clean OS, great performance and battery life, plus a dial camera system that's not too shabby for the price. Right now, though, only the white colour option is discounted.
Save AU$53
Samsung's budget handsets are excellent, and the Galaxy A55 is such a nice smartphone that it sits well beside the Galaxy S24 range – and with more than AU$50 slashed from the price of the Awesome Lilac model, it might be time to pick this phone up if you're after an affordable phone. It's not the lowest price we've ever seen for the handset (we've previously seen it as low as AU$543) but it's still a nice price to pay for one of 2024's best phones. Just keep in mind we may yet see it cheaper.
Tablets & ereaders
Save AU$62
Announced in October, the latest Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition gets you a fancy new colour in Australia, alongside the usual Black. You can get both for the same 19% discount, which nets you the best black-and-white e-paper display yet! It's fast, looks wonderful and gets you 32GB of internal storage. You also get wireless charging that no other ereader brand offers.
Save AU$52
A 17% discount is a little disappointing, but then the 2024 Paperwhite remains the best Kindle you can get – I should know, I'm currently in process of testing it for TechRadar. Its E Ink Carta 1300 screen is fantastic, page turns are quick and, in the few days I've used it, I've had no issues with lag or ghosting. That said, for just AU$20 more, I think the Signature Edition listed above is a better bargain.
Save AU$32
I've only just finished testing the latest release of the basic Kindle and, while I think it's got great performance, I was finding it hard to recommend at full price. This small 16% discount takes care of that little niggle for me and, if you're after a lovely Christmas present for someone who loves to read, my recommendation would be the Matcha Green colour rather than the usual Black.
One of Samsung's best cheap 11-inch tablets is now available for under AU$250. If you don't need a heck of a lot of storage, grab this bargain tablet, whether you're looking for a movie streamer, web browser or a reasonable multi-tasking companion.
Save AU$113
It might not be the latest model but the 2022 iPad sure is great value even at full price. If you don't need a lot of storage, the 64GB Wi-Fi option is now 19% off, dropping it back to the lowest price that we saw in late October. For your money, you're getting a tablet with a decent A14 Bionic chip, a 12MP rear and front camera, plus Touch ID and Apple Pay.
Save AU$162
It's only 12% off but that's standard discounting for Apple's more premium iPads, even during Black Friday. But if you want some grunt under the hood of your new tablet, consider this saving on the 13-inch iPad Air. The M2 chip gives it some serious chops, it's Wi-Fi 6 enabled and comes with a USB-C port.
Headphones & speakers
Save AU$290
Don't underestimate the Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones because of their plan looks. Brilliant detailed and crisp sound, along with excellent ANC and transparency modes and satisfying battery life, make the Momentum 4s some of the beast headphones you can currently buy.
Save AU$74
It's not the biggest discount we've ever seen, but any saving on Sony's excellent XM5 over-ear headphones is always welcome. They deliver the best all-round performance of any premium pair available right now, ticking all the major boxes of sound, noise cancellation and comfort.
Save AU$30
It must be nothing – or it might be your next pair of earbuds. Kitted out with ChatGPT integration (provided you also have a Nothing Phone) and active noise cancellation, Nothing's (a) earbuds offer an impressive 42.5 hours of battery life with a low cost compared to other earbud makers. They also have a really unique transparent design that sets them apart from the competition.
Save AU$169.01
Check out our Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro review for the full insight, but rest assured these earbuds have a lightweight and comfortable design that delivers fantastic sound quality, with active noise-cancellation and 360º spatial sound. While we have seen better discounts for the Buds 2 Pro, this is still a great price.
Save AU$80
The AirPods 2 were briefly back to their lowest price of AU$289 that we saw in October, but the discount has been reduced to AU$80 – that's disappointing, but it's still a nice saving. They're an excellent pair of noise-cancelling in-ears, especially for iPhone owners, capable of drowning out virtually all external sounds. This model is the latest and comes with a charging case that recharges via USB-C cable.
Save AU$105
Despite there being a fourth iteration, the UE Boom 3 is an excellent party speaker, pumping out powerful sound for its deceptively small size. It’s also waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating, and can withstand some knocking about with its rugged design. If you want to blast your favourite tunes by the pool, you can currently pick up either the Lagoon Blue or the Ultraviolet Purple for AU$124 on Amazon, while most of the other colourways will set you back AU$134.
Save AU$100.95
The Bose SoundLink Flex is a mighty fine portable Bluetooth speaker that already presented itself as a solid buy at its original price. You get 12 hours of playback time from a single charge, a lightweight, compact and wholly portable body and a big Bose sound that is among the best in this class. Oh, and it's IP67 rated to protect against dust and water, and it can even float in water too, making it the ideal addition to pool parties etc.
Save AU$166.95
If it's a true party starting Bluetooth speaker you're after, the Bose SoundLink Max is happy to oblige, and it's now down to its lowest ever price on Amazon. It gives out a huge, punchy sound from its robustly built enclosure, and a two-way USB-C port means it can used to charge your devices.
Home entertainment
Delivering Dolby Atmos sound at a relatively affordable price, this Sony soundbar is a feature-packed option offering dynamic sound with clear dialogue. For your money, you also get Bluetooth connectivity and AirPlay 2 support, plus HDMI eARC support is also available. That's pretty good value for money right there.
Save AU$146
The Sony HT-S2000 might be the right soundbar to pick up if you want great quality but don't want to break the bank. In our Sony HT-S2000 review, we found that the soundbar provided impressive sound quality and we loved the support for both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, though we would have liked a wireless streaming alternative to Bluetooth and voice assistant support. Still, the soundbar received a Techradar Recommends seal of approval. This is the cheapest we've ever see the HT-S2000 sold for, so if you've been looking for a cheap and powerful soundbar on sale, this might be the one.
Gaming
Save AU$250
Back to the price it was through most of October, the latest Quest VR headset now comes bundled with one game to get you started. Considering I've not seen this bundle drop any lower than AU$799, I'm not convinced we'll see a better price when Amazon does kick off its official Black Friday sale, so don't dally if you want to experience the world of VR or are keen to upgrade.
Save AU$40
It might be a measly 8% price drop, but let's not scorn it. Chances are we will see a better discount on the Switch OLED when the actual sales starts, but if you can't wait, take advantage of this AU$40 saving and get gaming on one of the nicest screens on a handheld console.
Save AU$40.95
We called this fourth Dragon Age title "a mightily impressive return to the fantasy series" in our 4-star review, and although it was only released a couple of weeks back on Nov 1, it's now available with a sweet 32% off the RRP at Amazon AU (which matches the mega online retailer's preorder price). Available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Save AU$54.96
This is a masterful retelling of the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga, bringing out the deeply emotional story that first appeared on the original PlayStation. If you're a fan of Square Enix's Final Fantasy series, grab this now. You'll get approximately 100 hours of gameplay from this game, which is excellent value at this discounted price.
Save AU$21.35
A revamped Switch version of the original SNES Super Mario RPG, this game holds on to its predecessor's isometric turn-based gameplay but with updated, modern graphics. It's fun, it's charming and classics like this never get old if you're a Mario fan.
It's gotten some rave reviews since its release earlier this year, making it one of the best games of 2024. Combine that with the 63% discount you're getting here, and you have a compelling argument for why one should never buy a game at launch. Survivor has been steadily dropping in price since launch, but this is the lowest price we've seen yet.
Save AU$45.95
This long-awaited sequel is a fast-paced third-person shooter with some fantastic graphics: watching many hundreds of baddies swarm through colossal arenas is a sight to behold. If you haven't experienced it yet, take advantage of this 42% discount, which is generous consider the game's only been out for a month or so.
Cameras
The cheapest and most compact GoPro ever, the Hero is designed to be a simple and affordable active camera. It only weighs 86g even with a display fitted to the back and its sizeable 4K-capable camera. it can be immersed in up to 5m of water and is fitted with a single capture button for simplicity. Compared to the mainline GoPro active cameras, there aren't as many video options and you only get a choice of three aspect ratios, however the battery life is still impressive at up to 100 minutes.
Stock on Amazon is running out, but if it's no longer available, The Good Guys will price beat its own AU$299.
Save AU$280
It might lack some features that the Mini Pro drones have, but that's also what makes the Mini 3 cheaper in comparison. It's still one of our favourite compact consumer drones and will shoot 4K video at up to 30fps and take 12MP stills. It has a max flight time of 38 minutes, which is pretty good, but just beware strong winds.
Save AU$41.06
21% off the SQ1 is a pretty decent discount and would make a fun, but more mature-looking, instant camera gift. As part of the Square range of Instax cameras, it produces square prints as opposed to the credit card-sized ones the Mini 12 spews. It's currently available in three colourways to suit different personalities – all at slightly different prices.
Save AU$110
While not quite the revolutionary camera we were expecting to see in 2023, the Osmo Action 4 got one major upgrade that we loved – a superior sensor. With horizon balance, better low-light performance than any other action camera and a noise-cancelling 3-mic system, this model from last year is still one of the best rivals to GoPro you can get a much lower price.
Save AU$887.85
This is a good saving on the single-lens kit of what we consider to be one of the best beginner cameras. It's a lot of camera for this kind of money, with a 24.2MP sensor, really good autofocus performance and up to 40fps burst speed.
Save AU$1,150
It's only been out a few months and it has had over AU$940 slashed off its price at the start of the sale, but this might just be a record-low already! The Z6 III brings 6K/60p (RAW) and 5.4K/60p recording, inherits 3D Tracking from the Z9 and Z8 for up to 9 subjects, plus there's up to 8 stops of IBIS with stabilised lenses.
Rebranded to be part of the OM System lineup, this the latest in the Tough rugged camera range that Olympus began. While it's not a huge upgrade over the previous model, the TG-6 is no longer available to buy, making this the best choice if you'd like a near-indestructible camera that you can take underwater.
Save AU$305.10
Bridge cameras have made a small comeback thanks to Panasonic resurrecting the Lumix FZ80 in July this year. Featuring an 18MP 1/2.3-inch sensor, a USB-C port for charging and a 2,360K-dot OLED EVF that's better than before, and an upgraded rear LCD with 1,840K dots resolution, it's quite the upgrade. You also get 60x optical zoom via its 20-200mm fixed lens to get you closer to the action, with the handling of a DSLR and the simplicity of use of a point-and-shoot.
Smart home
Save AU$70
Available in two colours, the latest version of the Echo Show 8 smart display now offers spatial audio alongside all its Alexa smarts. The 13MP camera offers crisper video call quality but you can always close it if you value your privacy. And that 8-inch HD screen is great for streaming content. You can even make it your digital photo frame when it's not in use. One device, so many functions, including becoming a central hub for all your smart home devices.
Save AU$119.95
The Philip Hue Play bar light will amplify your lounge room setup. And given the two-pack makes more economical sense to pick up, you place one on either side of your telly to create some stunning backlighting. While you will need a Hue Hub (sold separately) if you want to sync or screen mirror, the Play can still create quite the ambience on movie nights.
Save AU$180
The price of what is one of the best video doorbells you can get in Australia has been fluctuating a lot on Amazon over the last few months, and it's been down to AU$145 previously. It's easy to install, offers clear footage even at night and features facial recognition. Recording automatically begins when motion is detected, or when its button is pressed, plus it will let you know when packages have been left outside your door.
Smartwatches & fitness trackers
Save AU$150
One of the best-looking hybrid smart watches on the market, blending analog and digital design layouts, the Scanwatch 2 is probably your best bet if you want a classic design and some of the health tracking features of a typical smart watch. In our Withings ScanWatch 2 review, we found that the companion app was quite easy to use and we liked the inclusion of a skin temperature tracker, though we would have liked some more smart features and the small digital display won't be for everyone.
Save AU$38.63
It was announced only in October, so it's nice to see a little discount on what we said is "a formidable Android smartwatch for the great outdoors" in our Ticwatch Atlas review. With up to 90 hours of battery life (up to 45 days in low-power mode), it promises to be just as tough and rugged as the most gruelling trail you can hike.
Save AU$102
Down to its lowest price on Amazon, the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) has never been more obtainable. It gives you all the essential health tracking features such as steps and heart rate, while also giving access to a huge range of Apple Watch apps. If you're not going to use all the bells and whistles of Apple's more expensive Watch models, this is without doubt the one to buy. Available in Midnight and Starlight case colours, only.

The Fitbit Sense 2 is a neat and affordable smartwatch that’s able to track all your steps and movement, but it also monitors your stress levels and how well you’re sleeping. It looks good on your wrist so you’ll be happy to wear it wherever you go.

With 47% off, this is a sensational deal on a fantastic Garmin smartwatch. It's loaded with fitness tracking features, including a full triathlon and, as the name suggests, it can store music onboard for offline listening. The built-in GPS is also especially accurate, meaning you really can leave your phone at home when you're out for a run.
Vacuums
Save AU$360
Why settle for a single vacuum cleaner or separate machines when you can have multiple cleaners in one? The Floor One Switch S6 is a stick vac, hard floor mop, and a handheld vacuum with attachments for upholstery and an extending pole to reach your ceilings. The motor can be switched out and used with each attachment with ease, and it even washes and drys the mopping head by itself.
Add an extra bottle of cleaning solution for AU$25.50 (down from AU$39.90).
Save AU$404
Taking top spot in both our best vacuum cleaner list and our best cordless stick vacuums guide, this lightweight vacuum is fantastic value at 40% off. It may not have the powerful suction of the latest Dyson or Samsung, but it has more than enough to do a very good job even on carpets. Its bin canister is small, but it auto-empties into a 2L box (no replaceable bags needed), so you can carry on cleaning. It also detects room edges to increase suction – it's a really good vacuum.
This was a massive 46% discount on the Dyson Cyclone V10 in October but it's currently only 28% off. Despite its age, it's still quite a competent cleaner, but we would recommend you wait a little till Amazon's official sale begins. It offers fade-free power for up to 60 minutes, and this model comes with just the one cleaner head – the Digital Motorbar – and two extra attachments. It's already going cheap, but there's no guarantees the price will drop further when it's officially Black Friday.
Save AU$650
If you live in a large home, having a high-capacity dust canister on your cordless vacuum cleaner is handy. And with a 39% discount on Amazon, Dyson's Gen5outsize is fantastic value. Not only do you get the brand's most powerful machine, but it comes with a bigger bin that's 150% larger than the usual Dyson ones, plus larger cleaning heads to get the job done faster. You even get a bigger battery that promises up to 140 minutes of fade-free power. However, that bigger battery and larger fixtures makes this a heavy machine, so it might be unwieldy for some users.
Save AU$300
Roborock's Flexi Lite vacuum boasts an impressive 17,000Pa suction power, effortlessly removing dirt and debris from hard surfaces. The cordless vac has a 40-minute long runtime, meaning you can clean larger areas without interruptions, and it also has dual water tanks for separating clean and dirty water. Plus, the machine has self-cleaning and drying capabilities, so tidying up will always be hygienic and odour-free.
Save AU$600
This robot vacuum stands out with load's of great features, including a bagless self emptying station that help reduces the cost of operation. For the full insight, check out our Eureka E10s review where we give it 4 stars. Oh, and it also comes in white if you'd prefer.

This Ninja kitchen appliance combines a grill and an air fryer in one machine. We liked it so much that we gave it 4.5 stars in our Ninja Smart XL Grille and Air Fryer review. The latest model comes with the same presets as the DG551, but boasts a sleeker, more slimline design. Customer reviews on the listing praise its impressive features, meat-turning reminders and that it's easy to clean.
Save AU$221
Philips is the undisputed king of air fryers and this Black Friday discount gets you one of its more recent models for 49% off the RRP. The 5000 Series XXL offers a generous 7.2L/1.4kg capacity (enough to feed six people), 16 different cooking functions and even Wi-Fi connectivity and a smartphone app with recipes that can send commands straight to the fryer. The basket is also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

It's big and has multiple accessories to keep clean, but there's no denying this Sunbeam air fryer is a fantastic addition to any kitchen as it's capable of cooking in separate zones or one huge 11.4L zone. Food is cooked to perfection, whether it's a full roast chicken or small portions of fries or vegetables.
Laptops & PCs
Apple has no longer sells the M3 MacBook Pro, and instead is taking orders for the new M4 model. This means the older M3 models are seeing a discount, such as this deal that takes 12% off the still fantastic M3 Max powered machine. Amazon lists the old RRP, so erroneously suggests a 22% discount.

If you're a Mac user who wants a Mac-designed keyboard but not the Magic Keyboard that Apple offers, the Logitech MX Keys Advanced keyboard might be the perfect pick. The keys are illuminated and mechanical, and wireless with a battery life of up to 10 days (or five months without backlighting). An understated watch with a focus on Mac compatibility, the Logtiech MX Anywhere 3S is a Bluetooth and wired pointer fitted with an 8K DPI sensor. Our friends at Tom's Guide noted in their review of the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S that it was well made and nicely weighted, though it may be uncomfortable for some users. The lowest price we've ever seen the MX Anywhere 3S drop to is AU$99, which makes this the new all-time low.

While it would be cheaper to pick up the 1TB version, the 2TB is better value for money considering it's got a higher 37% discount.

It's a great price for arguably the most popular hair-styling tool on the market.

It might not have the OLED display like the model that succeeded it, but I think the Garmin Forerunner 255 is still a fantastic running watch – one you can have a far more palatable price than some of its siblings.
For nearly half the list price, you're getting the Forerunner 255's Music edition, which lets you store offline playlists that you can access while you're out running. Other than that, it's the no-frills Garmin that, in reality, still provides a whole plethora of important health and fitness metrics, plus you get Garmin Pay on board, in case you need to stop for a coffee on your way back from the morning run.
It's a lot of smarts for just AU$399 on Amazon, but note the discount is currently only on the black colourway in the 45mm and 46mm sizes (available via the same listing).

If you aren't too fussed about missing out on Bose's fancy Immersive Audio, but still want a fantastic set of headphones for not a huge amount of money, the Bose QuietComfort SC is a great buy.
Other than that, the main difference between the SC and the Ultra is the quality of materials used – for example, the Ultra has a little more cushioning for the earcups, but the SC are still very comfy.
Both have lovely sound, although the Ultras will be a touch better as they process sound differently to the SC, while battery life and ANC performance is quite similar on both. So if you want to save some cash but not skimp on sound, you can grab the SC for under AU$300.

Finding the best tablet to suit your needs can be a little tricky, especially when there are several options in the market, all promising great things. Choosing between Apple iPads and Android tablets often comes down to a matter of preference, but deals like this might help sway a long-term Apple lover to the other side.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is the South Korean electronic giant’s budget Android tablet and has slipped to a record-low price of just AU$249 for Black Friday.
Of course, at this price you’re losing a few premium features that are offered in tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, but if you want something simple and cheap to stream movies or play mobile games on, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus will definitely fit that need and at a much lower cost.

While it might have been succeeded by the Mini 4 Pro, the DJI Mini 3 is still one of TechRadar's favourite compact drone. The RC version – which is bundled with the DJI remote controller with the screen – is now reduced from AU$939 to just AU$659.
This backpack-friendly – and dare I say wallet-friendly – drone weighs just under 250g, which means it doesn't need to be registered with CASA for flying, but it would be advisable that you read all the guidelines carefully before flying your first drone. And if you plan on gifting this to someone for Christmas – it is a great gift – please do let them know they should follow drone-flying guidelines carefully.

There are plenty of air fryers that do a fantastic job of making healthy meals, but this one is a little different – it's more grill than air fryer, which makes it perfect for cooking protein indoors.
The DG551 model is technically a second-generation upgrade, but the first one never came to Australia, but know that this is a sleeker machine with fantastic grilling skills. But it will also fry, roast, bake, dehydrate and broil food.
In our Ninja Foodi Smart XL 6-in-1 Indoor Grill & Air Fryer review, we loved having the built-in thermometer, achieving the "perfect doneness" for different types of meat and the excellent char it adds. The one thing this appliance won't do is cook different foods at different temperatures at the same time, but hey, at 46% off, there's no cause for complaint.

Dyson launched the Airstrait earlier this year as another technologically advanced hair care tool to join its hair dryer and hair curler. As expected, it performs remarkably well and is capable of drying and straightening hair at the same time thanks to the power of air.
But, also as expected, being a Dyson product meant it wasn't exactly cheap. Admittedly, that is still the case despite a AU$200 discount at Amazon for Black Friday, but it undoubtedly makes it more accessible – and more justifiable – for many. This is especially true considering I rarely see discounts on Dyson hair care tools – at least of this magnitude.
Only the Bright nickel/Rich copper colour is available at Amazon for this price (you can head to Dyson for more colour options, you'll just need to pay AU$588).

I'm a massive Bose fan – I've been using the brand's headphones for yonks! And while I've not had the need to get myself one of Bose's Bluetooth speakers, I have it on good authority that they too pack a punch.
Particularly the Bose Soundlink Max, which our reviewer said produced "big, punchy and quite deft sound". It's been so well liked, that we gave it a 4.5-star score and it earned a TechRadar Recommends badge in our Bose Soundlink Max review. It also does come with a pretty hefty price tag for a portable Bluetooth speaker.
However, Amazon has delivered a very generous 28% discount on two colourways, dropping the price from the AU$600 mark to just AU$433.

Our pearly whites are high maintenance – they need daily cleaning and manual brushing doesn't quite cut it. Extensive research shows that using an electric toothbrush will help you remove more plaque from your teeth while helping you keep on top of gum health too.
The best electric toothbrushes cost a pretty penny, though, so if you can pick them up when there's massive price drops, you should definitely make the upgrade and Amazon's Black Friday sale is a fantastic opportunity to do just that, whether you're a fan of Philips' Sonicare line or prefer Oral-B.
The former specialises in sonic brushes – hence the name Sonicare for Philips' offerings. That means they're quieter and gentler compared to oscillating electric brushes, which is what Oral-B makes. Both are great options but people with sensitive teeth might want to consider using sonic brushes.
Below are a few of my picks of the best electric toothbrush offers on Amazon right now:

I haven't tested the Dyson Supersonic Nural myself, but I have it on good authority that it's arguably one of the best hair dryers money can buy and offers plenty of reasons to upgrade from the original Supersonic, if you were already an owner of that particular Dyson dryer. My colleagues loved it so much that not only did it earn 4.5 stars in our in-depth Dyson Supersonic Nural review, but it also received a coveted TechRadar Choice Award 2024 as the Home Tech Device of the Year!
Let me list why:
- This hair dryer knows when you put it down, and it will go into low-power mode after a mere second. As soon as you pick it up again, it will power back on.
- A plethora of sensors ensure the right settings are applied depending on which attachment you use – no manual adjustments needed.
- The sensors also adjust how hot or cold the airflow is based on how far the Nural is from your head to maintain what feels like a constant temperature on your scalp, thus protecting it.
Is it any wonder it costs AU$749 at full price? However, there's a very tempting AU$200 discount at Amazon right now, although only in the Ceramic patina/topaz colour. If you're looking for a different colour, such as the Vinca blue/topaz (pictured) you can grab it from Dyson directly for AU$579.

When it comes to streaming devices, none are as good value as Amazon's Fire TV Sticks. You can get some really affordable options, but I think the Fire TV Stick 4K (2023) is arguably the best option of them all – not too expensive but full-featured.
While any streaming device will give you access to practically all platforms, plus some other apps too, the Fire TV Stick 4K stands out by offering a speedy navigation system, great performance, support for 4K resolution and Dolby Vision. It's also controllable via the Alexa voice assistant.
It's also Wi-Fi 6 enabled, plus you'll get access to Xbox Game Pass via the device to play your favourite games. That's a lot of features for not a lot of money. Amazon has slashed the price of the Fire TV Stick 4K by half, so you can pick it up for just AU$49.
We're massive fans of the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones here at TechRadar. It's absolutely fantastic spec sheet translates well into its performance, offering not just exceptional sound but comfort too.
There's also support for aptX and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codecs for streaming high-resolution audio (provided the source device is also compatible), and the active noise cancellation is very effective too. It's headline is the whopping 60-hour battery life!
Better yet, these fantastic headphones – in the Special Edition Copper version specifically – have dropped to a record low price on Amazon for Black Friday, shaving off a massive 52% from the RRP – you just need to make sure you check the coupon box to get that final price.

I have to start with my favourite topic – ereaders. I love to read and I made the move to digital reading in 2013. I've been through a fair few ereaders in that time and have even tested some of the best Kindles.
With the 2024 Kindle range now available to buy in Australia – well, at least some of them – I'm glad to see them get some kind of a Black Friday discount. While the base Amazon Kindle (2024) 11th generation is the cheapest and a decent purchase at its discounted price of AU$167, I think the best-value Kindle right now is the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (2024) at 19% off.
That's the biggest discount on any of the 2024 models and, given you get double the storage over the standard Paperwhite and wireless charging, there's more bang for buck here. Plus you get a fancy new metallic colour too.

One of the most anticipated sale events of the year is finally here!
Amazon has kicked off its Black Friday sale really early this year, having started at 00:00am AEDT today (Tuesday, November 19) and will go on for two full weeks. That's right, Amazon's sale ends on at 11:59pm AEDT on Cyber Monday (December 2).
As with all multi-day Amazon sales, the products discounted and the deals on offer will change over the course of the two weeks and I'll be monitoring it all in real time, bringing you only the handpicked best of the best deals and discounts on tech and electronics.
Between myself and my colleagues here at TechRadar, we've reviewed a heck of a lot of these products, so I'm able to provide trustworthy insight into whether something is worth your hard-earned money or not. So stick with me while I dig up the gems. Amazon Black Friday deals are typically the best discounts you'll find online, and I'm giving you a preview of the best offers I recommend buying right now.
