Apple iPhone 16: free with an unlimited plan, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
If you're looking for the standard iPhone 16, the good news is that you don't even need to trade in another device to get one for free right now at Verizon. Eligible with a new line on an Ultimate Unlimited plan, you'll be saving a massive $829 ($23.05/mo for 36 months) on device costs with this deal. In addition, Verizon is also throwing in an iPad 10.9 (yes, a whole iPad) and an Apple Watch Series 10. Note, however, that you will need to pay an additional accessory cellular line ($10/mo) if you want to claim the free iPad, as well as a one-time activation fee of $35. An equivalent deal is also available on the iPhone 16 Plus.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with an unlimited plan, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at VerizoniPhone 16 Pro Max

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: free with an unlimited plan, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
If you're interested in the Pro models, you'll also find great deals on the iPhone 16 Pro at Verizon right now. There are two options for getting a discount on the phone here; a new line on an Ultimate Unlimited plan will automatically drop the price from $27.77/mo to $0/mo, but you can also trade in for a maximum rebate of up to $1,000 (and not be beholden to the Ultimate plan). Both deals effectively cover the entire cost of the device, and you can also bundle in that iPad and Apple Watch Series 10 (again, for free), as with the deal on the standard iPhone 16 above. An equivalent deal is also available on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in at AT&TiPhone 16 Prothe iPhone 16 Pro MaxiPhone 16iPhone 16 Plus

AT&T's latest iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max deals offer excellent trade-in rebates of up to $1,000 alongside an eligible unlimited data plan of $75.99/mo and up. Available for both new and existing customers, the trade-in criteria needed to get the full rebates are particularly generous right now. According to the fine print, you'll need a trade-in value of at least $230 to get the iPhone 16 Pro for free or the iPhone 16 Pro Max for just $5.56/mo, and at least $130 to score the iPhone 16 or the iPhone 16 Plus for as little as $3.62/mo and $6.39/mo, respectively.

Apple iPhone 16: up to $830 off with trade-in, plus $100 Best Buy e-Gift card
Best Buy's Black Friday promotion gives you a boosted trade-in rebate of up to $830 when you swap your old phone for the iPhone 16 on a new AT&T or Verizon line. The good news? You don't need to trade in a flashy flagship to get the full $830 discount. You'll also get a $100 Best Buy e-gift card for your troubles, which Best Buy will process once you've received and activated your iPhone 16. An equivalent deal is also available on the iPhone 16 Plus.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro:up to $1,000 off with trade-in, plus $100 Best Buy e-Gift card

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: up to $1,000 off with trade-in, plus $100 Best Buy e-Gift card
As with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, Best Buy is also offering boosted trade-in rebates on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In fact, this offer is even better, as you'll get up to $1,000 in credit versus $830 for the cheaper models. Of course, you'll also get the same $100 Best Buy e-Gift card with your purchase.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: phone and unlimited data plan for $65/mo at Boost MobileiPhone 16 Pro Max

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: phone and unlimited data plan for $65/mo at Boost Mobile
One of the best iPhone 16 deals on the market right now is the Boost Infinite Access for iPhone plan – an all-inclusive option at the prepaid carrier that bundles up a device and unlimited plan for just $65/mo. The device in question here is the excellent iPhone 16 Pro, so this is an exceptional deal overall if you're happy to go with a more basic unlimited plan versus the usual options at the major carriers (see above). Other devices in the iPhone 16 range are also available with the Boost Infinite Access for iPhone plan, but you'll have to pay a bit extra for the iPhone 16 Pro Max in particular.

Today's best iPhone 16 deals in the UK

Apple iPhone 16
Apple iPhone 16: was £799 now £769 at Amazon

Amazon has knocked £30 off the price of the standard iPhone for Black Friday. Sure, that's not a massive saving, but you're better off saving £20 here than paying full price for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, or iPhone 16 Pro Max somewhere else.

Apple iPhone 16 Plus
Apple iPhone 16 Plus: was £999 now £979 at John Lewis

John Lewis has knocked £20 off the price of all iPhone 16 models, in any colour and storage configuration. That's not as strong as Amazon's £30 saving on the standard model, but it does mean you can save money on the Plus, Pro, and Pro Max models.

Apple iPhone 16: save £300 over 36 monthsiPhone 16 Pro

Apple iPhone 16: save £300 over 36 months
O2 is currently offering a £300 discount on its 150GB, 36-month iPhone 16 plan. You'll save £8/mo on the overall data cost, and a further £12 on the overall device cost (the latter figure isn't much, but it's better than nothing!). Similar savings are available for the iPhone 16 Pro.

Apple iPhone 16
Apple iPhone 16: was £829 now £779 at giffgaff

Giffgaff's Black Friday iPhone 16 promotion is rare in that it saves you money on the device itself, as well as on data (you'll get extra data on various plans for no extra cost). To qualify for the £50 saving, you'll just need to add a monthly plan costing £10 or more. You can also split the device cost over 36 months, so in theory, the best possible iPhone 16 deal here is £30.95/mo for 60GB of data with a £25 upfront payment.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: £44.99/mo at iD Mobile

Apple iPhone 16 Pro: £44.99/mo at iD Mobile
Carphone Warehouse is currently offering a Black Friday deal on iD Mobile's 24-month iPhone 16 Pro plan. For just £44.99/mo and £39 upfront, you'll get a whopping 500GB of data, which is quintuple (5x) the usual 100GB offering. iD Mobile itself also has various discounts on monthly plans, albeit with higher upfront fees than this Carphone Warehouse deal.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max: £62/mo for 200GB data at Fonehouse

Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max: £62/mo for 200GB data at Fonehouse
Fonehouse is currently offering an exclusive Vodafone deal on the brand-new iPhone 16 Pro Max. For £62/mo over 24 months plus £45 upfront, you'll get 200GB of data and unlimited everything else. Sure, that still sounds expensive, but it's actually one of the best deals out there, and Fonehouse will refund the difference if you find the same deal cheaper elsewhere within 14 days of purchase.

Black Friday iPhone 16 deals: FAQs

Is Black Friday the best time to buy an iPhone 16?

In my opinion, the best time to buy an iPhone in general is usually during the initial pre-order period – right after the device has been unveiled. Carrier deals and Apple promotions tend to be strongest in this initial period because retailers are looking to encourage prospective upgraders and lock in customers for another plan/product cycle.

That said, Black Friday is already proving a close second in terms of the overall best time to pick up an iPhone 16. November is another common month for upgraders, so you'll definitely find great Black Friday iPhone 16 deals if you missed that initial pre-order period.

Why trust TechRadar this Black Friday

TechRadar's been covering iPhone launches, Black Friday deals, and everything in between for well over a decade now. By my estimation, we've probably helped thousands of readers save millions of dollars and pounds – and that's what we're hoping to continue doing in 2024.

Not only do we know literally everything about the new iPhone 16 range (see our in-depth reviews), but we also track the best iPhone deals throughout the entire year. Because of this, we know exactly what Black Friday iPhone 16 deals will be worth your time this November and which ones will be the usual ordinary options that you find at the major carriers.
